I teach students how to prepare for all aspects of live and studio performance. Working with me and my contacts in the music industry, students have the opportunity to learn and grow exponentially.

These include open mics, auditions, solo and ensemble singing, songwriting, recording, promotion, and other aspects of the music business, my students are given the tools and opportunities to implement what they have learned, as well as share their incredible talent.

Below are just a few of the performances some of my students have participated in. There have been many showcases, open mics, feature sets at Sweetwater Music Hall & HopMonk, Novato, house concerts, festival performances, recording sessions and more that are not posted here. In 2013, I coached 14 of my private voice students in preparation for our Spring Fling with Strings, Co-produced with my longtime friend, Narada Michael Walden, for his music foundation. Every one of the girls learned songs by the great Billie Holiday, our tribute artist, as well as songs by Aretha Franklin, Laura Nyro and more. We sold out 142 Throckmorton Theater, and made memories to last a lifetime. This is what brings me the MOST joy in life, to mentor and work with young artists to develop not only their musical skills, but to develop and nurture their sense of self, dreams and self confidence. This concert exceeded these goals. Thank you to Narada, and the NMW Foundation, for giving me and my girls this opportunity of a lifetime. - Lynn
